REIMAGINING INNOVATION IN HEALTH, EDUCATION AND RESEARCH
COLLABORATION
Key stakeholders from across government, education, and business sectors are collaborating together to deliver an aspirational vision for the Precinct, with a focus on developing the area as a growth precinct.
Liverpool Now
Liverpool is already the location of significant economic activity and is one of the fastest growing regions in Sydney, with its population expected to almost double to more than 320,000 over the next 20 years.
With a strong existing presence of health and education, population-driven services, manufacturing and knowledge intensive jobs, the diverse demographics of the local population presents an opportunity for translational research and trials in the future.
Land Use Analysis and Precinct Strategy
The master plan that sets how the booming city of Liverpool in Sydney’s south west will maximise the NSW Government’s $740 million Liverpool Hospital redevelopment was launched on Monday 28 October 2019.
The NSW Minister for Planning and Public Spaces, Rob Stokes officially launched the Land Use Analysis and Precinct Strategy at Liverpool’s flagship research hub, the Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research.
This strategy is about going to potential investors with a united vision that says Liverpool is open for business and ready to work with international technology, medical and innovative organisations.
