Liverpool becoming a first-class health and education precinct is at the centre of a report released on Monday that will help fight those statistics.
Health and education already play a huge role, with Liverpool home to the state’s largest hospital and medical research institute that is looking to expand, across the road. The TAFE is a stone’s throw and two universities have already set up shop in the CBD with a third on the way.
The Liverpool Health, Education, Research and Innovation Precinct Committee formalises the work already happening in the area and helps push in the report’s direction.
